Pharma Partnering

We see partnering, both in- and out- licensing, as the key to the continued successful development and expansion of our CNS pipeline and it is therefore central to our strategy.

We leverage the extensive personal networks of our leadership team in addition to the wide and long-standing network built by Evotec during more than 10 years of successful collaborations with almost all of the large and medium sized pharmaceutical companies in the industry and a significant number of biotechnology companies. Successful licensing is about trust and mutual strategic fit; we work diligently to pursue those opportunities where these two criteria are met. In particular, a concerted effort is put on developing long standing and productive relationships with key partners.

Out-Licensing

Our strategy is to selectively partner our later stage clinical pipeline with companies best placed to conduct late stage development and subsequent commercialisation. Typically, we will seek to do this when we have maximised value by demonstrating clinical proof of concept.

In-Licensing

We are also proactively seeking in-licensing opportunities in the CNS area which synergise with our existing pipeline and where we can leverage our development expertise to add value.
