Dr Michael G Kelly

President, Renovis, Inc. and Member of the Senior Management of Evotec

Michael G Kelly, PhD, has been appointed President, Renovis, Inc. and Member of the Senior Management of Evotec in May 2008, following the acquisition of Renovis by Evotec. He brings more than 26 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to the Company. From January 2006 to May 2008 he served as Senior Vice President, Research and Development, and from 2003 to 2005 he was Vice President, Drug Discovery of Renovis. During 2002, Dr Kelly was Senior Director of Chemistry at NeoGenesis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., from 1999 to 2002, he worked as a Director of Research at Amgen Inc., and from 1992 to 1999, he was a Principal Scientist at Wyeth. Prior to that, from 1982 Dr Kelly was a Senior Chemist at Burroughs Wellcome. He is an inventor on more than 100 patents.

Dr Kelly received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Ulster, a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Southampton and conducted postdoctoral research studies at the University of Michigan and the University of Nottingham.
